Werribee is owned by Rob & Sarah Cook, the brains behind Bundy’s newest butcher, Tender Sprouted Meats. We will be joined by other farmers from the region, who, along with Rob & Sarah, will share the stories behind their products and help us all learn a little more about farming in this region.
Judy Plath from Nourish Cafe, will hold a cooking class in the paddock, using local ingredients and explaining why real food cooking doesn’t have to be difficult.

During the day we will be joined by free range egg producer, Richard, from Fig Tree Farm Eggs; banana flour producers, Gavin & Jacinta Jowett, from Springhaven Meadows; preservative free wine producers, Mary & Terry Byrne, from Hill of Promise Winery and boutique beer producer, Jack Millbank, from Bargara Brewing.

Let’s take our plates to the paddock and get down to earth with this unique ON FARM cooking workshop!
See farming in action, hear from the growers + learn to cook with local, nutritious ingredients!
Travel by bus to Pine Creek and visit the beautiful Springhaven Meadows. Tour the farm, enjoy some Billy Tea & see Judy Plath from Nourish Café cook sweet & savoury delights packed with a VAST array of local produce!
Smoko, lunch, drinks & recipe book included :). Recipes will include delicious, healthy versions of popular treats like donuts, chocolate brownie, pancakes, pizza and more!
PLUS! Actually MEET the farmers! Fruit/vegetables, eggs, meat and dairy producers will be joining the Cooking Workshop! Hear from the men who GREW your meal.
